El primer 7" de Alien Nosejob os va a freir los sesos con puro y crudo aussie punk!

Desde el apocalíptico futuro que imaginó George Miller para su guerrero Max, cuyas imágenes sirven para ilustrar este primer single de esta nueva formación, hasta el crudo y típico estilo de la más primigenias y subterráneas bandas que formaron la primera hornada de mediados de los 70' y comienzos de los 80', de una escena siempre tan autóctona y quizás por ello tan colosal, compuesta por formaciones trepidantes como The Thought Criminals, Suicide Squad, Babeez, Razar o Psyco-Surgeons, cuyo sonido inspiró al ideador de este nuevo proyecto, nada menos que el talentoso Jake Robertson, como ya sabéis involucrado en otras imprescindibles bandas del momento, algunas tan favoritas para nosotros como Ausmuteants, cuya personal impronta también se deja sentir aquí, absolutamente todo en esta nueva banda apesta a frenético y clásico punk australiano, algo que el bueno de Jake ha buscado con alevosía y premeditación.

Al igual que aquel cinemático héroe de la autopista, Alien se crió en los suburbios de Nueva Gales del Sur, cuyos inhóspitos parajes de desérticas carreteras sirvieron de exteriores para aquella inolvidable película, y al igual que Max, trasteando y golpeando el metal de los desvencijados coches del negocio de automoción familiar, fue donde este tipo comenzó a experimentar con la música, hasta que después de llegar a los sonidos de aquella gloriosa e incipiente escena punk, bastante ignotos fuera de Australia, marcados por sellos como la esencial EMI Customs Records, dejo los trastos cogió la guitarra y se marchó a Victoría, para comenzar una carrera que ahora lo ha llevado hasta aquí, con este nueva formación que responde al nombre de "Alien Nosejob", de la que ya habíamos oído algún tema esporádico cuando reseñamos "Horrendous New Wave", el recopilatorio new wave de desconocidas bandas ideado por Lumpy a mediados de este año, si bien esta es su primera edición física, un single de 4 cortes que llevará por título "Panel Beat" y del que ya podemos oír esta primera y maravillosa pista "Family Dinner"

Alien no pretende que este 7" sea editado por ningún sello. Este single ha sido exclusivamente escrito, ejecutado y mezclado íntegra y exclusivamente por Alien Nosejob, grabado y masterizado por amigos, bajo las más estrictas reglas del DIY, con fecha de salida oficial el próximo 20 de diciembre. Todo ha sido hecho del modo más barato posible y todo debe seguir así, sin que nadie tenga que pagar ni un céntimo más de lo que ha costado, pronto os diremos como conseguirlo.

The first Alien Nosejob 7" is gonna blow your mind with pure and raw aussie punk

From the apocalyptic future that George Miller visualized for his warrior Max, whose images serve to illustrate the first single of this new line up, to the raw and typical style of the most primary and underground first mid-70’s and early 80’s batch of bands, with such a native and personal style, and perhaps for this reason so awesome scene, such as The Thought Criminals, Suicide Squad, Babeez, Razar o Psyco-Surgeons, whose sound inspired the creator of this new project, none other than the talented Jake Robertson, as you all know, involved in other essential actual bands, so favorite for us as Ausmuteants, whose personal imprint is also felt in this release, absolutely everything in this new band reeks of frantic and real Australian punk, something intentionally premeditated for this good Alien from the very beginning of this new invention. 

Like the cinematic hero of the highway, Alien grew up in the suburbs of New South Wales, whose inhospitable desert roads were used as locations for that unforgettable film, and like Max, scraping and hitting the metal of the ramshackle cars out the back of their parents car detailing business, this mate began to experiment with music until, -after reaching the sounds of that glorious and incipient punk scene, quite unknown outside Australia, and significantly marked by labels like the essential EMI Customs Records- he was led to put down the screwdriver, and pick up the guitar moving to Victoría, to start a brilliant career that now has led him to this new project called "Alien Nosejob". We had already listened to a few sporadic tracks when we reviewed " Horrendous New Wave", the last new wave compilation of unknown bands conceived by Lumpy in the middle of this year, although this is the first official release, a 4 cuts single titled "Panel Beat" and now, at last, we can already enjoy the terrific first track, "Family Dinner"

Alien does not intend this 7" to be released in any label, this single has been exclusively written, performed and mixed entirely by Alien Nosejob, recorded and mastered by good friends, under the strictest DIY rules, and the release date will be on next December 20th. Everything has been done in the cheapest way possible and that's the way it should stay.
